Release of the piece
We are glad to have the opportunity to share with you the release of the musical piece “Cryptography”, included in the album “Life For Machine”.
”Cryptography” is characterized for being a piece with an energetic techno style that invites the listener to get carried away by its rhythms. Throughout the tune, moments of mystery are explored that add depth and excitement to the listening experience. This fusion of energy and mystery creates a dynamic atmosphere.
This piece refers to the enigmatic world of cryptography, digital life and the “Cypherpunk” movement. Like cryptography, this piece seeks to convey a sense of enigma and secrecy through its sound.
The piece will be available for listening on the main streaming platforms from May 3, 2024.
Videoclip
In the music video for this piece Nagatak performs the piece in a visual environment that references the iconic feature film “Matrix” which shares an aesthetic and cinematic concept with “Cryptography”. It refers to the close connection between the real world and the digital world in this new era. Nagatak wears a contrasting black and white outfit to reinforce the concept.
This videoclip is scheduled for release on May 10, 2024.
Cover design
The visual art of this cover is represented by an exclusive sculpture made from pieces of real weapons seized and destroyed by the Ministry of Security of the Republic of Costa Rica and donated to the renowned artist Juan Carlos Chavarría, author of this wonderful sculpture.
The photographs were taken by professionals using lighting and art techniques to provide a unique identity to this visual piece inspired in “Cypherpunk” style.
The sculpture is called “Life For Machine” and is located in Nagatak’s studio in Heredia, Costa Rica. Find out more about this art project here.
